MISSION CRITICAL

Mission Critical is an umbrella term used to categorize buildings which are, as the name suggests, "Critical" to the functioning of societal infrastructure. This includes healthcare facilites, data centers, emergency response centers like fire stations and ER buildings, military facilities and police buildings.

Data Centers

Data centers are specially designed structures which are meant to store server racks and are primarily designed to support these server racks and the associated mechanical heating and electrical systems. Once again, as these structures are Mission Critical, they are usually designed with a Risk Category of either 3 or 4.

With these higher risk categories, the constant presence of server racks and a superimposed load, the lateral system needs to be robust and designed accordingly.

Ishan has designed multiple data centers in his time in the US and at IG & Associates, we are currently designing multiple data centers.

We make use of Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Tedds, RISA and associated hand calculations in compliance with AISC, ASCE and ACI.

 A COMPLETE DESIGN SOLUTION

With multiple Data Center designs in our portfolio, we offer compelete designs for data centers along with the associated structural modelling, design and required drafting. The designs are compliant with AISC 360 and ACI318.
